If that were sitting here in Kentucky, there would be four or five families begging the owner to rent it to them.
They would tack a $2 tarp over that hole in the roof, put cardboard over those missing windows, and about fifteen layers of newspaper and flour-and-water paste to line the walls and stop the drafts.

Would have been cute in its day. That house was probably built in the 1920s or 1930s. It would have been very upscale in the day. There are remains of older log cabins here and there. It is hard to imagine the remoteness of these places back in the day of dirt roads, horse wagons and long trips to town in long, snowy and cold winters. These areas are remote enough today.

So sad to see it just left there rotting away. I guess if anyone wanted to save/restore it they would have had to do it years ago.
