Clear Springs Road - Russell County - Kentucky Thursday_08-September-2022 Ag Class Calf Feeder
This Calf Feeder was built in Ag Class, or Ag Shop if you prefer, some twenty-five or thirty years ago.
It is on skids so it can be drug from place to place.
It is a jumbo-sized duplicate of your backyard bird feeder.
You open the hatch in the roof and auger it full of feed.
The feed dispenses out through narrow openings at the bottom into a trough on each side.
I think it has held up very well considering the abuse it has received and being out in all sorts of weather.
The other end has a huge opening up under the gable; I bet half the feed that is put in this thing is ate by the birds, coons, and who knows what else.
I bet if you quietly slipped up and shined a light in there at night, it would be scary to see how many eyes were shining back at you.

The ever-closer shots give us a good sense of the entire scene.
