When I was thinking 'good morning rainbow' because this is what greeted me this morning, this song popped into my head. That's what happens to me in most situations nowadays - after nearly 20 years of this hobby
I see something and a title for a scrapbook page pops into my head ...
Or I see a color combo and think 'that would make a great scrapbook background"
I call it 'thinking in scrapbook pages' |

Well that came together quickly! Clean layout where everything seems to be perfectly placed.....I like the dividing band, background texture, and little "do-dads" on the left. How did you create them?

Love rainbows. What a lovely way to be greeted first thing in the morning Janice. The reflection almost makes it a double rainbow. Very nice.

Some came off a template - I added the raindrops and the very subtle flower design I started with my photos and text and added components of this template  I sometimes place my photos and text on a blank project and then I grab a template and choose some of the layers to move onto my layout - instead of starting with a template and eliminating the layers after the fact. Sometimes it's just hard to find a template to accommodate the photo placement I want so I 'steal' the main stuff from the template. As for the 'clean layout' - that's more because I couldn't find a way to add more stuff. I don't like busy layouts but I'm also not a fan of 'starkness'. But for me, sometimes it's just hard to find stuff to add to a layout so I stop and consider it finished. |
