Then using a Texture Overlay from Coffee Shop I placed it at the top of the layers stack and blended with the Overlay blend mode at 85% opacity. Never would have thought to do something like that to a B/W, Lillias. Interesting idea.

And for something different I used a cartoonizer action from Panos. Tony

Would never think to use the cartoon filter with this image either, Tony. But that's what I love about our challenges, there is always someone introducing a new idea.

I used a cartoonizer action from Panos. I like your rendition, Tony... that attractive pastel-like coloring works great.

These were all interesting and different takes on the image.
My three choices - in order of appearance
Pontiac1940 - his edit seemed to be very close to the actual.
HMCA - her edit brought out more of the leading lines of the image
Tony - his creative cartoon version worked well.

Well done, Clive and Tony. Thanks for the mention and showing me how to achieve the look I was sort of attempting, Frank.

And now for my edit of the image Thanks Frank and I do like your version. A portrait crop works perfectly and avoids the problems with the light on the right. Tony
