Before visiting a friend in a near-by town I stopped to take some Halloween pictures for the weekly challenge. She told me about another house that I had to see....so off we went.

After taking a number of pictures outside, I saw the owner and complimented him on his display. He told me that I have to come back at night. If you look at the gate along the front of the house you will see little boxes. He explained that there are buttons that can be pushed that animate the different scenes. And THEN....he invited my friend and I to come inside. He has the inside decorated as well! I am sharing a number of pictures in this thread to hopefully give you an idea of the enormous amount of work that he put into decorating his home.

The pictures below are supposed to be a funeral parlor. He explained that the woman draped over the coffin is pretending to grieve but had really killed her husband.
The rest of the family and visitors are on the benches.

So glad you can see them, Tony. I am feeling guilty as he was explaining things but I was so intent on taking pictures I wasn't paying attention. I will ask my friend who lives in town and was probably paying better attention than I was. I did ask where he stores everything and he said in his cellar.....and he decorates in a similar fashion for Christmas! I sent him a link to this thread so hopefully he will be able to see it and maybe he will send me an answer to your question.

Amazing! Thank you Helen for all those fascinating pictures. What a fun day it must have been for you. That man must be so interesting. Hope you get to see his Christmas display.

There was a place near here where you tune in your car radio to a Christmas music channel and drive through his beautiful display never having to leave your car.

Pep usually takes me for a drive for Halloween and again at Christmas but I never saw anything like this.

I am now seeing the Image Not Found icon from Imgbb.com for all of the images in the OP, and when I click any of them Imgbb.com reports image not found. This is different from the earlier behavior I saw. I assume you did not delete them from their site.
