Monday_14-November-2022 Male Red-bellied Woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus)
I started out the door, saw a Blue Jay, and ducked back inside to get my camera.
Camera in hand, the Blue Jay was long gone; however, I saw this Woodpecker way back in the timber.
There were so many twigs and branches in the way that I never got a clear shot; however, with something so seldom seen as this, any shot is better than no shot.
Here is what Kidadl, Birds and Blooms, ABC Birds, Audubon, All About Birds, All About Birds ID, e-Birds, and Wikipedia have to say about them.

Lovely colors. Yes, woodpeckers and other birds y sure hang out in thick bush...so hard to get clear shots at them. Are Red-bellied Woodpeckers the size or a robin or bigger? ... it looks larger. We don't have those here.

I would say Robin-sized would be pretty close.
