Tuesday_01-November-2022 Goldenrod (Soldiago gigantea)
and thirty other varieties found in Kentucky.
There is some confusion as to which variety actually is the Kentucky state flower; no designation was ever specified when the ruling took place.
They sure don't look much like any state flower now; just a few weeks ago, they were a beehive of activity, working alive with every manner of insect and caterpillar.
There is definitely no shortage of Goldenrod on this place and I believe we have every variety covered.
Here is what Kidadl, Kentucky State Flower, Bellarmine University, Wikipedia 1, and Wikipedia 2 have to say about them.
