The Oldman River cliffs

I went to the river again this afternoon and had a good walk. (I won't go into the very sad and unpleasant major outbreak of avian flu in the local geese. Hundreds have died in the city limits. It is possible our resident bald eagles will be taken out as they will eat dead geese that are laying on the river ice shelves. Another story. Breaks your heart.)   

Anyway, I looked across the river and this caught my eye. Just eroded steep cliffs with cool patterns. The erosion shows old lake depositions from literally millions of year ago.
