This week's challenge is to see what kinds of slopes or other terrain our skier and/or snowboarder can take on. This image is from Adobe Stock Images.
Sorry this was a few hours late, but life...you know! I can't wait to see what challenges our intrepid adventurers take on.

I realize that the skier in this image is pretty small, so I found a closer version of him...thought this might help.  |

I did this earlier with your original post, Vicki. This was a hard one for me so I am looking forward to seeing where others go with it. Add-ons were all from StockSolo. I used a sketch effect from Impression 1 above the color version with the luminance blend mode in hopes of blending it all together.  |

Helen, you did a great job with the blending and the compositing for this, as well as the composing...and you said it was going to be a real challenge! Well, you were up for it.  Frank, love how you combined a number of different techniques in this image...OOB, embossing, repetition. Absolutely great result! |

- Applied a Color Lookup adjustment layer (Cyanobleach). - Created the OOB effect with a template by Pancawara (Popout Photo). - Applied a texture by Clive Sax (Winter, Overlay blending mode, 50% Opacity).  |

I tried to animate the head rolling away, but I couldn't figure out how to do it, despite watching 3 videos, so I used fade. My 'learning curve' has straightened out...
