Thanks. I was lazy. I needed a card and I grabbed things off a layout I liked. My creativity has been lacking - been taking shortcuts like that a lot lately. I'm sure you've seen this one before - I believe I posted it this holiday season even though it's a few years oldIn remaking it into a card, I wanted the focus to be on the cat and the dish, but I couldn't make that work, because he looks better when he's coming from behind the photos, sneaking up on the birds - so I went in another direction. Just realized I left off the pine boughs - I didn't actually mean to do that but using the boughs may have thrown off the balance of the graphic, so maybe it worked better the way I used it on the card This is what I like about digital scrapbooking and using layers in PSE - I can shift and remove and redesign easy as can be. I always save my psd's for just this reason.  |

Thanks for the Christmas cards. Your little chickadee makes a great card. I sure miss the little birds like the chickadees, cardinals and the rest you have photographed. Coming from 'up north' - we had much the same wildlife you have photographed, but I have 'traded them in' for the white pelicans and herons, etc. We have a lot of the small birds, it's just that, living on the man-made lake without trees in my backyard, the wildlife experience is very different. |
