is there a way to get a photo into PSE without having to export it to a file from PHOTOS (mac) to edit it
i know they changed it ...but is there any chance there has been a change to change it back
I HATE it (venting)
i want to just EDIT the photo .... you could right click and edit with iPHOTO ...but that is GONE

Riandel, I have probably got the wrong end of the stick, but for individual photos I can see them in Finder, and either right click or File and then Open With > Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.
I still on OS 10.10.5 Yosemite, though. not yet moved to El Capitan.

I may be misunderstanding something here (my apologies if this is the case), because I don't use either Photos or iPhoto, but--are your images not in your Pictures folder? If so, you can open them in Elements straight from there.
