You folks never make this job easy! From creativity, wit, experimentation, juvenile charm of the human and avian variety and all sorts of beauty in between, I found it especially difficult to pick an Image of the Week. Thank you all for continuing to share your work and for providing inspiration. Here are my selections—and believe me, it was hard to stop at five:
Memory of Summers Past, drjoerogers. A beautiful image, made more so by the subtle processing. I’m sure this picture is already a family treasure.
Cambridge Punts, Alexr. Here’s a reminder of why we are told to include “repetition” in our compositions—in this case, it’s very effective, and produces a compelling image.
Holy Cow With a Porpoise in Life, TPGettys. A very witty visual pun, and I have to confess I love corny humour!
The Longwood Garden, hmca. The reflections enhance this beautiful capture of a most elegant venue. This must be a delightful place to visit.
My pick for Image of the Week is Scania’s Porthcothan, Cornwall. For me, this reproduces perfectly the serene atmosphere of a sunny day on a secluded beach.
Thanks for judging, Angela! What a lovely introduction you wrote. Congratulations to Joe, Tom and Alex....I'm happy to be joining you as an honorable mention this week. Special congratulations to Phil for his perfectly exposed seascapes......it certainly is a beauty!
