I just received an Email Notification for 2 threads but was surprised when I got here there was nothing in my Profile.
I would have thought there would have also been something in my Profile....

I could be wrong, but I believe you only get notifications when a message you've posted is quoted or liked. At least that's what my notifications history shows,=.

I use the "New: Partisipated" tab. It's up on the right, under the "Log out"

I believe E-mail Notification works in this forum the same way it did back in EV. You receive such an e-mail when a thread you participate in is updated, i.e., someone posts a reply. There is no need to check your Profile; you just go to the thread(s) in question.
According to the Help file, you will receive Notifications in your Profile when, for example, . . .
EDIT: You can find out more about this feature by going to Help>Notification Options.

I thank you both. I did not get any email notification for this thread as of Tuesday.... maybe something will come today as I have noticed sometimes they do come late.
I did see a Profile Notification for this thread.
Marianne,
I have seen the New: Participated icon before but never new what it was for. I will have to play with it to see what happens.

I did see a Profile Notification for this thread. I believe it is because you were quoted; I quoted you in my previous post. This is one of the criteria for a Profile Notification to be issued -- "someone quotes you".
NOTE: You should get another Profile Notification because I quoted you again.
