This isn't an issue, but the board was a bit inactive so I thought I'd post something to get some activity.
Feeling adventurous, I decided to make two big leaps in the same week -
- I upgraded my home computer to Windows 11 from Windows 10
- I replaced my 7+ year old Windows laptop with a MacBook Air M1
Thankfully, I've been very happy with both. The Win11 upgrade was very straightforward. I've only had one minor issue with a scanner driver so far. Most of my challenge has been getting use to some of the changes in the OS.
I'm really pleased with the MacBook. I haven't used MacOS since the early 90's (although I'm a heavy iPhone/iPad user).
As an admin and moderator here (and an IT professional by day), I figured I should be on top of the latest OS'. Hopefully I can now help out forum members with both Mac and Win11 issues (I also run a Linux server, which probably isn't very helpful to our members, but...)
