Are you happy with SmugMug? It's not particularly cheap but looks good and I'm thinking of storing a few of my favourites online, just to give me more "purpose" and end product, but not with the intention of selling. Thanks for the kind words Howard. I'm quite happy with Smugmug. Their service is good, the site is customizable to your taste, and I agree that it makes my photos look good. They have various pricing levels, so it can be a little less expensive if you don't care to manage your sales / pricing. If you're interested in trying it, here's a link for a 20% first year discount. secure.smugmug.com/signup?Coupon=fXtljEKHhaNtA Thanks again for the nice comment.

Had often thought of it but think mine would be pretty boring as I don't get out and about all that much anymore. Maybe 365 images from my windows....LOL! ..... or maybe different ways to capture the light and shadows from those windows. The differences between north windows and east windows (or whatever.) Maybe try a couple days and if you're having fun with it keep on going. Sorry, don't mean to push. ;-)

Always impressed with the variety included in your daily posts, Bill. Curious, do you know if any of the other members from PE still participate? Thanks Helen. As far as I know it's just me. I'd welcome company though!!

I started doing the 365-type challenges (along with a group of others on the old PSE User site) back in 2008, and this week I completed another year. If anyone is interested in seeing my results for 2023, here's the link. www.regularmanphotography.com/Photography/365-in-2023I'm off to try it again for 2024. No themes, just a commitment to myself to try to find a reasonably good photo to make every day. Happy New Year!

'Tis the season for setting aside prejudices, preconceptions and fears, accepting everybody for who they are, and risking acts of kindness, compassion and love. I wish all of my forum friends (that means you!) the very best for a happy, safe and peaceful holiday season. Thanks for the theme Sepiana

I'll start us off with Turkish coffee pots. These were hand hammered in Turkey, so they can either be Turkish coffee-pots, or Turkish-coffee pots. Thanks for the theme Tony and Sepiana!

Portland Outdoor Store is family owned and has been operating at this location since 1919.The neighborhood and the shop have seen some pretty tough times lately, but business seems good and it's an amazing treasure chest of high-quality western wear. Photo taken this morning. BW in-camera with a minor curve adjustment in ACR. I also used PS on one of the images to remove a person. Thanks for the theme Clive!

One of my favorite ways to introduce sorting to my kindergarteners was to read this book and let them sort the buttons. I was always impressed with the attributes they saw. Love the button photo Helen ... brings back lots of memories of "sorting" through my mom's assortment.
