N is for not remembering to do this theme until Sunday afternoon and having no idea what to shoot. Nail clippers and a macro lens to the rescue. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Saw this roofer today. According to him these old worn shoes are safer when working on a roof. Good for you Helen for getting the shot!

Lettering from some letter boxes. I always like seeing the "arrow" in the negative space of the Fed Ex logo ... someone had their thinking cap on. Thanks for the theme!

All pumpkin, all the time. I even saw a barber shop today with a sign joking about pumpkin spice haircuts. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

This sentinel welcomes train riders to the Goose Hollow neighborhood, home to the soccer stadium (background) and Portland's best Reuben sandwich at the Goose Hollow Inn. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Not really sure if we're keeping land lubbers away from the yachts, or keeping yachters away from land, but there's definitely a barrier. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

I didn't ask from what because I guess I didn't really want to know. I won't ask, but "Alaska" is a clue, eh? Love the low perspective of this photo. Nice Pretty sure the front pieces are Woody Harrelson... Here. Yeah, the Alaska thing kind of tips it off, and it looks like Mr Harrelson could use a little more time at Cheers! If that's Sam Malone behind him, he doesn't appear to be amused.

Thanks for using one of my theme suggestions Sepiana. It gave me a chance to visit a local coffee shop to see one of the better chess sets I've seen. The pieces were hand carved in Alaska in 1957. I didn't ask from what because I guess I didn't really want to know.
