Pete, I like the toning of the first photo, but I have problems with it for the reasons cats4jan has mentioned. I really like the 2nd image as a portrait shot but, in my mind, feel that if you toned it it like the first one that it might add a bit of a nice artistic touch to it. Just my 2 cents worth.

Welcome Martha! Although I am not new to the forum, I have been away for quite a while and, like yourself, need to reacquaint myself with many aspects of PSE. If you run into problems or issues the folks here on the forum will be all too glad to assist.

Wow, these are fab. I wonder how much editing, if any, has been done to achieve results like this. My fav image is the luna dunes for exactly the the reason that BillieJean has stated. Thanks for sharing these Helen.

That's a top shot Clive and looks very inviting to me given all of the heat and humidity in Sydney today which I am none too fond of.

Good focus on the foreground subject against the soft background - very nicely separated. Looks like you nailed the theme with that image, Jackie. Looks like it is going to be a great 52 weeks of challenges for you

boo hoo hoo - all I am getting is a "loading" message without an image appearing. I wonder if it has something to do with my IP address being from Australia as often I cannot peruse overseas sites.

Clive, how did you get that last emoji? That was what I was looking for when I posted my comment, but I didn't see it in the emoji panel
