I think the composition is lovely Peterj, but I wonder if a tighter crop would make the items stand out even more.

I can't think of how you might have done it otherwise. Perhaps some others may have some thoughts.

All I can think of is that after you selected the 3 images you did a single <ctl>c (copy) followed by three instances of <ctl>v (paste). Do you think that is what you might have inadvertently did?

There were plenty of reflections last night on Sydney harbour as the Opera House was floodlit in red and fireworks a plenty going off over it. It was all part of Chinese New Year celebrations which kicked off in Sydney last night. It is the year of the rooster.

I prefer the second one as well as the lighting is better which results in a nice glisten on the background texture as well as improving the overall contrast to make the razor stand out. A very nice image.

You will be able to guess why I don't use a gallery. (My pics won't upload.) Uhm, you should be able to create and upload to a gallery. How have you been trying to upload images? Have you tried cubeupload.com? Just copy and paste the link after you have uploaded an image to it to your gallery. Here are some detailed instructions for creating a gallery that Tom (tpgettys) put together: link Hopefully you will have a shiny new gallery soon filled with some of your very interesting images
