I enjoy using vintage lenses on my Sony A7ii camera. Unfortunately, without an electronic connection I'm unable to see what lens was used for an image and over time I forget. Being a looong time user of PSE 9 ( hey, it still works for me ), I was wondering if there is a plug-in for PSE 9 that will allow me to just add simple lens info, i.e. "Helios 58mm". As always, "Thank you" for your time and help.

I'm nervous about proceeding with Windows 11 because my printer, speakers, and some photo editing software is old and I'm afraid the drivers and such won't work. My PC is rather new and W10 does everything I need without problem. Am I worrying about nothing and proceed to W11, or if it's not broke don't fix it. I'm not a computer savvy person - just know enough to be dangerous.

Thanks Sepiana, that was easy. Appreciate your help as always. And "thank you" to hmca for sharing on that earlier post.

Seems like the link to Mike's Kaleidoscope Action is no longer working. Can anyone somehow provide the action ? Looks like a fun thing to try.
Thanks

Thank you Major Major and all for your help and suggestions. Once again you've come to my rescue. Major Major's answer did the trick, and best of all it was an easy fix.

Using PSE 9. I know how to create a circle outline using the elliptical tool, but can't figure out how to reposition and resize the selected area. I've taken a few images using a "crystal ball" and what to reorient only the part of the image within the ball.
Thank you for the help.

The menu 'Find', 'By details' in the organizer has the option to search by focal length. For instance, I can search for more than 34 mm and less than 70mm... and I find two thirds of my 70 000 shots in less than ten seconds.
Edit: Warning: The focal length is the real one, not the 35 mm focal equivalent. For instance my fixed lens on my Fuji is 23 mmm (roughly 35 mm in... 35 mm equivalent!).
This also worked very well for me. I didn't know it existed in my PSE 9. Thanks.

Thank you all for your quick replies and assistance. michelb & pontiac1940, I downloaded that EXPOSURE PLOT program and gave it a trial run. It's even better than I hoped for and will help me to decide which lenses to part with.
All the help is sincerely appreciated.

Is it possible to find a focal length or range of focal lengths from my images in PSE 9 ? I'm rethinking my lens collection and would like to ascertain which focal lengths I used most and least.
Thanks

I always wanted to try this effect. Here's my first attempt. I followed a Gavin Hoey video for the step by step instructions with little difficulty.

Looking for a tutorial on creating a radial gradient using PSE. Haven't had much success searching online. Thanks

Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and the quick replies. So far, so good, adapting to the "buttonology" changes from my old PSE 9. Finding out old habits are hard to break as I point my mouse to the wrong direction, but am enjoying this latest version.

As I play with a trial version of PSE 2018, I have another question. Is it possible to change the light gray background of the user interface to a dark gray like I have and prefer on PSE 9.
Thanks for your help.
