Seeing how I got a pot of beans with a rather meaty ham bone going that old woman won't have to cook supper today so she will be requisitioned to help with a nest check this afternoon.I found some egg shell's on the ground below the nesting cavities so I know there are some babies.
That will be Purple Martin babies,,,,,,,,,,,,I'll get pic's.

Some of the bridge cameras will shoot RAW(ie: Canon SX50 for sure),,,the big draw back I notice is the small sensor/frame but I like it overall.

When I purchased my SX50 someone offered this explanation,,,,The Bridge Camera bridges the gap between the true Point & Shoot camera's and the the more serious line of equipment ie:DSLR. I don't know if thatr's actually true or not but it does seem to fit.

It is clear and sunshine,it would be a great morning to be out there with the camera but its only 53 degrees. I'll wait a couple of hours and see if a shot of something emerges.. I have been a busy beaver this morning unloaded the dishwasher and did the dishes from last night.(my wife has had a tight schedule the last few days, but I'm a nice guy too, yea, right). I fixed breakfast, took my meds, did the 4-ess's and am now surfing the web,,,,have a great day everybody.

I didn't think of that but that's true as you would have mid stroke control on the clicker, smile, good job. 150' that's amazing what technology is doing.

I agree RAW is the way to go. How is your remote setup fixed, is that a prefocus on the log/post and a remote shutter release, if so how far away can you be?

Great capture Paul,,,,that would have been really cool if you had got that shot off of the robin on the camera. How much PP if any did you do to this image and what if you would like to share?

Aha!!!! Did a little different and didn't have to edit anything except I wished the description was all below the image. I opened the reply page, typed in my comment's, paged down a couple of notches, pasted the URL in, selected BBCode then clicked on create post

Edit in: I just noticed something ,if I click on the word "Loquats" next to the image it takes me back to my Flickr Photostream and also if I click on "Sunset" next to the image in your previous reply it takes me back to your Photostream,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,not sure if this is a good feature, whatcha think?
