I am another baffled and miffed PSE15 user I have 25,000 photos tagged in my places file tree from numerous previous versions of PSE 7, 11, 14 and now I just upgraded to PSE15 thinking it was an upgrade, what were they thinking…? My places file tree is now basically useless as I cannot add anything (tags) to it anymore, just use the existing ones in it. The only way you can actual get a new tag to show in your tag tree at all is a work around by custom naming and existing map tag!!! Then is shows up, but then the tag is just thrown into your tag tree in no particular order and cannot be moved, edit or have a sub category added. Years of tagging out the widow! I have little to zero use for the gps map tagging system. My Place tree is/was right there, zip boom done. I don’t get the gps/Map fascination, plus there is no way to make sub categories, etc. It is way way way more tedious it organize places tags. Someone spoke of the catalog manager for recently converted catalog changes...? Is it possible to convert my catalog and rename my Places tag and have it recognized under other Tags...? With all the years of building it still recognized..? I really really don't have the time to create whole new duplicate tree under other and retag to an identically named tag file tree there then go back and delete the old tag under Places and so on and son!!!! Everything all over again..! Someone please tell me there is an easy fix. Any help appreciated

I recently upgrade to Elements 15 from 14 and I am nervous and curious about uninstalling PSE14 now that I have PSE15 up and running..! It indicates that it is taking up 2.13 gigabytes of space on my drive, a fare chunk of my laptop drive. I have a fear of it causing some kind of major problem. Probably unfounded but I thought I would check here just to make sure. Much help for any advice on this subject.

I have run pse7.0 on my old MS XP Office desktop pc for years and have just upgraded to a new desktop pc running MS windows 10. I would like to install PSE 14 and move my catalog from pse7.0 over into it..? Is there any easy to follow instructions on how to make this move? Can all the work I’ve done in pse7.0 over the years even be transferred over into pse14..? Do I have to uninstall anything first..? Can anyone tell me how to do this? I don’t have the first idea how to start. I can tell you that my PSE 7.0 Catalog is keep on an external hard drive. Please help. Much thanks and appreciation.
