Taken today, the stairs are all that's left of my fifth grade classroom. I added the cat and the urn.

Love your dragonfly, fotofrank ! The image I chose this time already had a painterly effect. I used the scribble brush to make the hat stand out.

Created the fish "coloring" using an image from StockSolo. Duplicated, changed sizes and added the fish to an aquarium also from StockSolo.

Tried another one.....extracted the officers from the image and used generative fill on the background. Using the background image I created the barred image per the example. Added the three officers above the background. Then just for fun matted the final image.
And without the mat....

What an interesting layout and fun story, jackscrap. Was your page sewn by hand or did you use very realistic looking papers? Love the overall appearance. I prefer your second version as well.....such a well-told story seen in your first post. Treasured memories for sure. And yes, you definitely need to find another chain. How special that both granddaughters will have their grandmother's necklace to wear cats4jan.

Happy as a clam in high tide. As well you should be! So special that you captured your home in the foreground.

Enjoyed reading your "story", Lillias....it reminded me of my summer vacations growing up as a child and inspired me to create this page. It came together rather quickly as I have these pictures hanging up in my bathroom and I purchased a Sea Life kit from Anna Aspnes a number of years ago. The camera is from StockSolo.

I had fun with this, Frank. Because this reminded me of string/yarn being woven together I chose this image taken at Grounds for Sculpture. Used some NIK filters at the end to enhance the effect.
