I think this will be a great addition to our tutorials, use of magic wand tool, www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9t4jehgC-AIn this video, Top Ten #8, Contiguous, is one I've used many times and find It's most useful if I want to remove the background in one go, especially if you want to remove background that's showing though tress. I have chosen this image as an example of how I've got best results when using contiguous. ![](https://i.ibb.co/3vNrtCM/Ironbridge-061.png) And if you check contiguous as video shows will only sample the sky area that's trap by treelines as image 1 shows. ![](https://i.ibb.co/6tCZX9K/Contiguour-11.png) When contiguous is unchecked magic tool will then sample based on the tolerance set, as a quick reference I set 44% as image 2 shows ![](https://i.ibb.co/ZMx6QkB/Contiguour-22.png) By adding a layer mask and with brush tool, setting foreground white I can now brush in the areas we want to keep as image 3 shows. ![](https://i.ibb.co/qyYc4QX/Contiguour-33.png)
