I have added a new MacBook Pro to the mess. I did a migrate from the old one - but something wasn't right (probably going from Intel to Apple Silicon). Anyway - was able to reinstall and new copy of PSE 2022 but am missing some of the presets that I had on the old. I have PSE 2022 on my main desktop with all the presets. I would like to move them to the new laptop. Can I just copy the preset files onto thumb drive from the desktop and then drag an drop them into the proper folders on my laptop or do I have to do the long way and use the "add" feature within PSE 2022?

Bruce, It all depends on which presets. Can you give us more information on which specific presets you are talking about?

Brushes, custom shapes, gradients, patterns, styles and textures Thanks for this additional information! If these are Elements built-in presets, then, you can just copy/paste them into the appropriate folder in your PSE 2022 laptop copy. If they are third-party presets, it's a different story. Some are just loaded via their panels in the Editor; others need to be copied/pasted into the appropriate folders.

So probably a hit/mis and have to just work with them as they come up. Thanks for the insights.
