I have been following the template problem already posted but still can't figure out how to use this product that I bought from Photomorphosis. I am using PS but I think the same principle should apply. The directions tell how to replace the sample image. I have no problem doing that. However, what I would like to do is insert three different images, one in each frame window. I have tried removing the ex. image and unlocking the chain, however, the sample keeps appearing when I try to access the different layers. I am pretty sure I would need to use the techniques similar to those posted in this thread, but I can't figure out how to do his. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? TIA...as I've been trying this off and on all day. u.cubeupload.com/HMCA/ScreenShot20150727at.png

Helen,
I also have BlendKit. I believe the problem is that BlendKit is to be used with a single image. According to their website,
However, it can be used with three images with some tweaking. (I used Photoshop.)
1. After you have done Step 1 -- "Replace Contents", use Free Transform to position your image inside one of the frames and to resize it if necessary.
2. Once you have your triptych the way you want (amount of distressing, background, etc.), flatten your file.
3. Now insert the other two images in the remaining frames by first selecting the frames and then doing Edit>Copy>Paste Special>Paste Into.
4. Use Free Transform to reposition/resize the images within the frames.

Sepiana....thank you. I know it says one photo.....but in one of their examples it looked like they had used 3 different images. That seems like a good workaround....but still think there must be a way to do it before flattening. I have asked on their FB page and on our EV FB page.....and asked a friend who is pretty good at this stuff.....so if I get any more info I'll post back.

OK.....Just heard from a friend. She suggested measuring the document size and then creating a composite with the three different images......something else to try : )

Helen,
As a coincidence . . . I was doing some testing and I was about to post that you could use a composite layer. It works.
- Do Step 1 to insert the first image. - Make any changes you need. - Create a composite layer. - Now proceed with the "Paste Into" step to add the other two images.
EDIT: Your layer stack will look like this.

Helen,
Looking forward to seeing your finished image.
Wish it worked in PSE as well. I love the different images people have come up with.

Helen, you got it! Beautiful triptych!
Thanks for starting this thread! I had never thought of using BlendKit with three images.

Thanks, Sepiana. Being we re PSE& More, I decided it would be OK to ask the question here. The trick will be finding three images that work well together.....

I really like that result. It's very soothingly beautiful. Just goes to show - no one can stop us from doing what we want with a template.

Thanks, Jan. I never would have figured this out without the collective input of friends both here and in real life.
