Magnificent photos Clive, of a truly regal looking bird.
I have been tuning in to the live cam of the nesting eagles in Big Bear Valley, currently doing it hard with all the snow, and the possibility of the eggs not being viable.

It was a nice opportunity. Do you know how long the BBV eggs were unattended? I am not sure how long eggs can be exposed when it is cold. In bad weather, female Canada geese will sit for days to keep the eggs warm. The male is always nearby. |
