After downloading the beta version of photoshop to try the object removal feature, I have had one problem after another. I am beyond frustrated and can't figure out what I need to do to just have things return to normal. Problems: Right click edit in PS not working. Photoshop opens but the image never does. If I choose open as a smart object in PS it opens but does not save back to LR. It does save to the EHD where I have my files stored. After closing the image I get this:  Hoping there is some simple solution to this. I am on a Mac desktop Big Sur |

Helen, I haven't gotten around to checking out the new Beta version. Will probably do it soon, but I'm on a PC, so I expect different problems! LOL I also don't use LR in my workflow...which could be your problem.

I haven't tried the Beta and I'm on Windows but the first thing I would likely try is to uninstall the Beta (via Creative Cloud) and see if that returns things to normal.

I'm not encountering any of the problems you describe. The interaction between Lightroom and Photoshop Beta 24.5 is flawless. |

Just updating .....Everything is back in order. I uninstalled and reinstalled both LR and PS.
