A walkway in-between two buildings with a school bus passing in-between: Tony, great In-between interpretation! A passing bus? The timing was perfect.

I had to take these in between the wire fence that holds them. Jacki, and it made me do a double take. Thinking out of the box. Very nice!

I noticed this view of distant hills framed in-between trees on the way home today. I had seen it before but remembered Sepiana's weekly photo challenge so stopped the car in the road briefly and took the pic. I couldn't decide whether leaving the road in or out of the image fit the theme better. Jim, both images are valid interpretations of In-between. In the 2nd one, the tree line runs in-between the road and the hills in the distance. You got it!

Crocus flower showing the pistil and stamens in between the petals. In our garden today, April 24. Clive, an In-between provided by Mother Nature. Great job seeing and capturing it.

An all-time favorite book in between a couple wise old bookends. The bookends have been with me my entire life, and they show the wear and tear. Thanks for the theme Sepiana. Bill, awesome! A comic masterpiece (and a classic) as the In-between subject. I also have a copy of this book; I have read it many times. Thanks for the memories!

Two ducks very conveniently occupy the gap between between the hedges bordering the village pond in Carshalton, Surrey. Dennis Dennis, your In-between interpretation is right on the mark. The two ducks came to the right place at the right moment.

On the Thames Path east of the City, the road is narrow as it runs in between disused warehouses (now converted to apartments on the left and a Film Studio on the right). In between the two buildings, the walkway above the road has been turned into a garden. In full summer it is a mass of foliage and the whole thing stems from a single large shrub which springs up from behind a gate at road level on the left. Brenda Brenda, you captured Mother Nature and Architecture coming together to create an eye-catching In-between situation. A job well done!

The grassy lane that lies In Between the mighty trunks of these stately trees. (Actually it's a berm that is part of an extensive flooding management dike/diversion system that dates from when this area was newly settled, before the South Platte was dammed and diverted until it's a rare season that the spring runoff manages to flood this high any more. Rick, I'm impressed how you noticed and captured this In-between. Perfect for this theme. Great light falling on the grassy lane!
