Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme is about capturing an in-between subject, i.e., a subject which stands between two other ones. Lots of possibilities here -- people, animals, buildings, objects, etc. Hope this makes sense!

I had to take these in between the wire fence that holds them.

I noticed this view of distant hills framed in-between trees on the way home today. I had seen it before but remembered Sepiana's weekly photo challenge so stopped the car in the road briefly and took the pic. through the car window while leaving the hazard lights on. (Yeah, I don't recommend stopping in the street like that so please don't try that in your neighborhood). I couldn't decide whether leaving the road in or out of the image fit the theme better. I thought the road-in version looked sort of like a "double" in-between interpretation. Any opinions on that?

An all-time favorite book in between a couple wise old bookends. The bookends have been with me my entire life, and they show the wear and tear. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

An all-time favorite book in between a couple wise old bookends. T Had not heard of this book before. Methinks I can relate to Ignatius Jacques Reilly.

Could not decide whether or not I'd reveal the "in between" connection. This apple and banana are the entrée for my noontime light lunch. Lunch is in between 7 AM breakfast and 6 PM dinner.

On the Thames Path east of the City, the road is narrow as it runs in between disused warehouses (now converted to apartments on the left and a Film Studio on the right). In between the two buildings, the walkway above the road has been turned into a garden. In full summer it is a mass of foliage and the whole thing stems from a single large shrub which springs up from behind a gate at road level on the left. i.ibb.co/M2HYd1k/Sand.jpgBrenda

The grassy lane that lies In Between the mighty trunks of these stately trees. (Actually it's a berm that is part of an extensive flooding management dike/diversion system that dates from when this area was newly settled, before the South Platte was dammed and diverted until it's a rare season that the spring runoff manages to flood this high any more. When European settlers first came into this region, there no trees along the river at all. But the name of the area is Tamarack Ranch Wildlife Area... I can draw a conclusion that maybe those first ranchers also planted the trees, but I have no facts to back up that assertion.

Deleted my first submission.....hope this is a better fit for the topic. Helen, I don’t recall what your 1st submission was all about. However, this one fits the In-between theme. Nice job!
