Chinatown Floribunda rose
This is our first bloom of the season today on our Chinatown rose bush - a beautiful, fragrant, yellow with pink- tinged-edges rose that we've grown for 30 years now. I purchased it in a one gallon own-root pot at The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens in Pasadena/San Marino, CA. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntington_Library in the early 1990's, brought it home, potted it up to a 5 gal. pot the next day and into the ground about a month later. Impression Pastel texture by Meredith Images. Jodi Frye frame. This is how it looked Saturday afternoon (unedited version).
