Here is my first sighting of White Pelicans. Until then, I was only familiar with brown ones
From then on, these guys have been steady visitors - with upwards of 3 dozen at one time

This is a revision of an old layout

Nice record of this happening.
American white pelicans are nice to have around UNLESS they are in a small river or small lake where there are gamefish. They eat a lot of fish. For their size, they are graceful fliers.

Currently using PSE 2023. Also used 2021, 2018, and had PSE 11, 10, 8, 6 and 3; PS LE and full PS.

It's a manmade retention pond which they stocked with fish. I have a feeling they wiped out the fish and then there was a leak that emptied the pond. The liner is fixed but now we are waiting for the spring rains to fill it back up. Then they will hopefully come back
