My problem is that I accidentally shut down my PC whilst PSE 2019 and several other programmes were still running!
I leaned on the dratted button!
Now I have a piece of Art Work on my desktop (jpg File) and I cannot delete it or move it as I'm constantly told it is open in "Creations".
I have appended my plea for help to the crash report but since I rarely use the Organiser, I have no idea how to get rid of this file on my Desk Top.
Anyone have any advice,...apart from "don't shut down your PC whilst it is in action!"
Thanks Edit: OMG, I've finally managed to send it to the Recycle bin! Not my desired end, but it'll do!

Glad it is fixed! Typically a restart will fix any file that can't be deleted due to being open in some application.
I'm curious how you leaned on the button and turned the machine off. Is this a laptop?

Hi Andy, no its not a laptop, more a laptop without a screen or keyboard! It's an Intel NUC6i5syh. Just a little dinky thing about 4x4x2 inches! I had some papers resting on top of it, covering the power button and must have leaned on them a bit too hard.

I've worked with those devices - they are really nice. Never heard of anyone using one for home use. I can see how you turned it off. The ones I have seen have been mounted to the back of the monitor.

Stubborn to remove files can often be deleted by going into Safe Mode.
I've got a couple of those Intel NUCs. Not top specifications and bought second-hand from an Ebay seller. They are not bad though. One is running Linux Mint. Something else for me to use and find out about sometimes.
