As always with your work, it's a tough choice, Frank. But I agree with Jim.....I like the warm/cool contrast in the first one.

My vote is for the first image, however the second image is also pleasing and I would like to see it with the bird toned down just a tiny bit.

I'd lean to #1 as well. But also agree with Jacki. My vote is for the first image, however the second image is also pleasing and I would like to see it with the bird toned down just a tiny bit.

V1 preferred for better color contrast between subject and background, and cool sky-related hues of background elements.

I'm in the V. 1 camp also. The warm on cool is more striking/refreshing to me than the warm on warm version.
