I started with this template and I was stuck. I don't like empty spaces, so I just kept adding things but then I wasn't happy with the number of items on the page - it's too crowded.  Then I couldn't find the right color for the background and finally just gave up. I find when a layout is difficult to do, I'm never completely happy with the outcome, but at some point, you just have to accept what you've done. I am a great believer in templates. Even when I completely change the layout so it looks nothing like the original template, I am glad I used a template for inspiration. This layout is a great memory of the day, but not a layout I'm sold on.  |

I love your page, always a treat to see more photos of your day than just a select few. I like the placement of the cascading photos along the right side, looks like there was plenty to see on the canal.

I agree with Jacki about the cascade of photos on the right......plus you often say that you are not a photographer but you captured some nice close-ups from your day. The Lakeside Inn looks like a restaurant that I would like to visit.

Some photos were from their website, the rest mine. The Captain was very helpful in finding things to photograph and he stopped so we could get our shots.
