So...do you reckon this is the face of a man or a woman? If you can guess who it is, you win a thumbs up emoji. It is an incredibly famous person. I wouldn't have had a clue if the boatman hadn't told us, despite studying the subject at school.  |

The face that launched a thousand ships (and made out of bits of old ships I believe). That was the inspiration for the mask although I'm not sure anyone knows what she really looked like or even if she really existed. Sounds like you enjoyed your visit to Canterbury.
