There are a few interesting viewing opportunities this month:

    8.1 Tuesday Super Sturgeon Blue Moon rises in the east 7:35pm MST

    8.12 & 13 Sunday & Monday Perseids Meteor Shower

    8.16 Wednesday New Moon perfect for viewing Perseids Meteor Shower along with Jupiter & Saturn

    8.30 Wednesday Second full moon Blue Moon rises in the east 7:03pm MST

Most any date between the 12th and 20th to moon shouldn't be too bright!

None of these require anything other than luck with the weather, your eyes, and patience.
