WOW, Frank, I love what this did to my 'Fall Mums' photo! I may have to use this for a future club competition!  Original:

Thanks for this. This image had been processed before I tried this technique. At first I followed the tut, then went back and made some changes. The blend mode o f Layer 1 copy was changed to Linear Burn and its opacity reduced to 35%. Added a mask to Levels 2 and masked out the green reflections to bring back some of the original color. Then cropped … the original is the original size.   |

The whimsical frame works well with the flowers, and the colors are so fun, bright, and cheerful.

kdcintx , I really like what this effect did to your sunflowers! I'll probably try it on some of mine, but am not sure I'll share it. I hate comparisons!!!
