Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE
This week's theme is about composing your shot so that your subject will be framed with something surrounding it naturally (walls, tree branches, foliage, fences, etc.). This composition technique will add depth to your image and will draw the viewers' eyes to your subject (the star of the show). Get your camera and go framing!!!
The inspiration for this week's theme came from this image by dennis9.

Being it is National Lighthouse Day, I thought I'd head to Sandy Hook for this week's challenge.

I agree with Clive. You sure found lots of nice natural frames around that lighthouse, Helen.

Framed view of the local lake - was hoping for a bird or two or perhaps a canoe but all was quiet today (except for the mosquitoes!) Tony

Perhaps a bit of a stretch, but the reflections on three sides are a natural frame around the blue-winged teal.

Caught this pleasanr scene in the park today and thought it fitted the theme nicely. Everyone loves a dog and this one posed for me perfectly. i.ibb.co/Fb7wF8k/Dog.jpgDennis

View through a piece of street art - used to be a better view of the clock tower but the street art got moved - also there's a big leafy bush you now need to get under to get the shot! Used a phone to maximise depth of field and wide angle Tony

Tower Bridge makes a good frame for views of London. Here I have managed to capture the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral, though not the cross on the very top - Just couldn't get myself or the camera low enough down! i.ibb.co/MsfXKTD/TB.jpgBrenda

Portland's Hawthorne Bridge. Bill, great capture of Mother Nature's framing. The tree branches at the top of the image are like a magnet -- drawing our eyes to the bridge. Another job well done!
