Gotta love Yorkshire and I say that as a Lancastrian! That's almost treason!
Cool frames too

Same question as Lillias. Did you make those very cool frames?

I did make the frames ..or Xara Designer did. With the program having a mixture of vector and bitmap capabilities, it can do some quite good things with photos. In this case... A rectangle was drawn the same size as the photo (or it can be slightly smaller). The rounded corner tool was applied to the square. The square placed directly and centrally behind the photo. The 'Intersect all shapes' tool used. The the intersected shapes are separated. The 3D tool used to make the photo move into the wanted perspective and give the depth of the extrusion. The depth can be any solid colour. Chosen as the 'Line Colour' Where the 3D angle has darkened the photo, lights can be used to brighten it up again. Drop shadows on the shapes/photos can add to the result. Make any background. There are a couple of other refinements that can be done such as the shape of the extrusion and whether you want it shiny or matt. Edit: I notice there is a Youtube tutorial that shows 'Xara cropping photo to shape' as well. It uses the same tools but a little differently. I think either way is OK.

Thanks for the step-by-step. A little beyond my capabilities, but I'm hoping some of the experts on this board will give it a try.

Thanks for the step-by-step. A little beyond my capabilities, but I'm hoping some of the experts on this board will give it a try. Well I certainly don’t claim to be an expert but I was intrigued to see if this could be done using PSE. Not even for a minute do I pretend my results measure up to those of mart44 but it was fun trying. I have also provided a ‘how I did it’ which is a bit rough and ready but hopefully you get the idea. Images used are from morguefile and pixabay, vintage images and the BG texture is by Erica Paree.
