Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Two from this morning. While some workers get to observe Labor Day and will return to their job tomorrow; for others it's another day on the job.

Well, Sepiana, that's good timing. Thanks. About 10 years ago at the summer place I built an outdoor countertop and cabinet that we use for cooking and storing patio chair cushions, etc. My wife recently suggested we put a cover over it and add a shelf or two. It has been a lot of work and I've promise myself that I will never drive another shingle nail in my life. Anyway, I started painting the new addition today. Definitely a work in progress ...

A local farm family grow 2,000 to 3,000 thousand acres of barley and canola. I think all of their barley is in the bin and they made a lot of progress last week harvesting canola. Harvest was halted after a good rain last Wednesday. They were combining in this field on Saturday but apparently it was still too damp and they stopped. I took this photo on Tuesday, September 5. It shows a strip of harvested canola and standing crop on either side. A work in progress that is likely to resume on Wednesday or Thursday this week.

The town has an annual scarecrow festival which I think I've used as a subject before. Today I caught the town staff in the middle of setting up the main displays and they were happy to have them shown as a work in progress! Tony

Lunch in the progress. Chicken ramen deconstructed. Noodles from the package; fresh, dried and frozen veggies; and leftover chicken. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

It's not everyday that one gets to see a dumpster fire. Jim, I agree. Great capture of this unusual work in progress.

Clive, this is a classic example of work in progress. Just in time for this challenge.

A crystal art coaster under construction.. Mart, making such a coaster looks like a complicated project. Your shot captures this intricate work in progress.

Tony, quite a cheerful and seasonal display of work in progress. Great "catch"!
