Vanishing points will be the September B&W challenge.
A vanishing point is a point on the image plane of a perspective rendering where the two-dimensional perspective projections of mutually parallel lines in three-dimensional space appear to converge.
We have all taken vanishing point photos. I hope you can find an image or two in your archives. My examples are quite routine, but perhaps you can post something different. One of these examples (Chinook Arch) is a bit different in that there are two points in one photo.
These are anticrepuscular rays are opposite of the setting sun, i.e., the sun was behind me.

This is the odd example. A Chinook arch is an optical illusion. The line of the "arch" is actually a straight line that vanishes to the left and right horizons. This is a multi-shot panorama.
Typical example
Also not quite typical in that the road is not exactly straight but does diminish in the distance.
