The frame is made from a solid circle and a square joined together. A slightly smaller shape is made of this by duplicating and reducing the size. The smaller shape is placed on top of the larger and one subtracted from the other. This gives a hollow frame shape. The brass effect added by using the 'chrome' filter by AlienSkin. The base colour is selectable in this, as is the bevel and smoothness of the frame. Two duplicates of the frame are made. The photos are cut to fit the frames. Two of the frames with photos are angled to give the appearance of three framed photos standing on a surface. Reflections added as shown. The reflections are faded out by giving them a linear transparency.

The reflection is a nice addition. You have done a good job of angling to give dimension. It’s not as easy to do as you make it sound. Great job.

Thanks Janice - There are some details and procedures in vector-based programs that make life easier. One being able to group elements together. For instance, once a photo is cut to fit a frame the two can be stuck together (grouped) and moved about as one item. Shape the frame and it also shapes the photo. All helps with the perspective of things.
This maybe doesn't show too much with the chosen photos but it would if there were any lines involved, such as the shapes of buildings. Even so, it's possible to see how the photo shape stays fitting the frame when the frame angle is pulled about. This is because the frame and photo are grouped. They can be ungrouped if needs be.
