Even if they do not show tonight, I am pleased how the moon is lighting the fall colours. I will wait another couple of hours. So unpredictable. BTW, this photo is close to "as shot" with just some minor cloning and small levels adjustments. 10:50 PM  11:50  |

Beautiful color and reflection, Clive. Thank you Helen. I am pleased with these photos. There was enough moonlight to display the trees well. Not sure if we will get and aurora event and chance to try this 'new" place before the leaves fall. And BTW, aurora did not appear down here last night. They were good in central Alberta. |

I like the way the fall colors look against the evening sky Thank you Janice. Night images can be a lot of fun. Other than muted moonlight, it was dark as it was about 4 hours after sunset. It is amazing what a long exposure and moonlight will do. Love this stuff. |
