A CorelDraw Home & Student X7 image. I'm having to remember the exact steps but like many of my geometric images, they evolve while seeing what gives a good effect and what doesn't. Once done and converted to a jpeg for showing ..and a few months have gone by, the detailed 'how' is hard to remember. I guess I could produce it again if I had to. The image is basically made up of intersected circles as shown. The fading effect is done with contours from the object to a small black shape.

This looks as if it’s floating through the stratosphere and I can almost hear that kind of atmospheric other worldly music playing that you get in some sci-fi films.
It really is amazing what the various technologies available to us today can do or help us to do. I’m afraid try though I might, that my brain is a bit too old now to fully grasp or retain it all for any length of time! BUT it’s fun trying...

Many thanks - I think what I did to give the shape some depth is colour the shapes blue (with no outline), duplicate the whole thing, move the copy down a bit, colour the copy black and then do a contour between the two.
