Oh! That's gold and not a position I'd ever want to find myself in. What's in those pies, just cream, meringue? Asking for a friend..... Good timing from the person holding onto your camera, and I notice you came prepared.

I agree with Jacki.....you nailed it, Tony. And I like your chocolaty font.

This image from quite a few years ago came to mind as I'll be going to the same event where it happened in a couple of weeks - and yes that is me. I'd given my camera for safe-keeping to someone in the audience and they'd captured this shot with it at the perfect moment. It was all in a good cause but this particular pie thrower really took the job seriously and I was a mess! What Helen and Jackie said, Tony. Perfect in many ways.

You just never know what you're gonna catch. My own See's chocolates photo. Basket and fisherman (I added the fish line) from Pexels.

That's the sort of catch I'd like to make Jim, do you mind sharing what you used for bait?

'Baby reveals' back then were not a thing, one of us was looking forward to being surprised.....

That's the sort of catch I'd like to make Jim, do you mind sharing what you used for bait? Not at all, Jacki. Well to make a long story longer, I had spent two hours or so fishing that morning with my old Hula Hopper lure while nibbling on a can of (pixabay) gummy worms and caught nothing. I mean I'm talking Zero, Zilch, Nada here! So when I got down to the last gummy candy worm and was about to to call it a day, I decided "What the Hey? - nothing ventured, nothing gained." So I put my very last candy worm on a metal hook and Voilà! It dragged in that basket full of chocolates.

After posting my sunrise picture I realized it would work for this challenge.....

It is not as evident as I had hoped, but the shadow is of a recent graduate in cap & gown. What we get in life has a lot to do with the choices we make, but only in a general direction. The winds of fate blow strongly, crafting the details. (All parts from Pixabay)

That's a glorious sunrise Helen, and on first glance it seems like the sun is coming up out of the ocean. The day looks promising so far, hope it ended well.

Nice take on the quote, Tom. I see those intersecting paths and start to wonder about which one to take first. I see the shadow as representing an educated decision.

on first glance it seems like the sun is coming up out of the ocean It had me a bit confused this morning as well, Jacki. The haze hovering over the horizon was a result of the Canadian fires.

Just so Jacki. It appears most are taking the path up and over the hill, so I could follow their lead, and really, with all my education, how can I choose better? Nuts! There is nothing to it but to choose one! The most interesting thing is that no matter what you find lies there, your response to it is still up to you.
