Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else.
- Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation.
- Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme was a joint suggestion by dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew!) The idea behind this theme is that you grab your camera and capture subjects with lettering. Think . . . signs, displays, marquees, public art, etc., etc.! It’s NOT about adding text to your image(s) in post-processing. |

Lettering from some letter boxes. I always like seeing the "arrow" in the negative space of the Fed Ex logo ... someone had their thinking cap on.   Thanks for the theme! |

Some bright new lettering along a trail on this mornings walk - the one way applies to the Golf Carts used by campers in this park in summer - we were walking in the opposite direction

These pics are archives, but when I saw the word "Letters" it immediately reminded me of them. I hope it is ok to post older pics in here. I was in the Ho Chunk Casino just walking around their back parking lot while my husband was engrossed in Blackjack and happened to discover letters piled up all over the back parking lot. Of course, I could not resist taking a pic!!!!!!   |
