I had to look up M.C. Esher and it does look like a bit like his work. Not anywhere near as clever though.  On another forum many years ago, a member showed this construction made out of wood. It was photographed at an angle to make it look as shown. When the construction was turned around a little, it was possible to see how disjointed it was. Nothing was as it appeared. It set the challenge for me to see if it could be drawn digitally and this is the result. Maybe the inspiration to make the wooden model came from M.C. Esher. |
