From my experience, a very strange place to see a turkey. Indeed! This wild species is protected and it's illegal to interfere with them of their trails/pathways/nests. As a result their numbers seem to have exploded in the last few years and on that evening we saw around a dozen of them. I'm not complaining though. We have overtaken their habitat, not the other way round and I love living amongst nature. (I could do without the giant spiders though 😁) |
