A lot of luck involved as I had to shoot through a fence and so was limited to shooting from about 2m away. Those swans are hard to find?? Or get good photos of them?? Slightly easier than getting a decent photo of the Australian Drop Bear That's very kind of you to say so, thank you.

Thanks mate. Bin chicken...colloquial name we give to the White Ibis in the second photo in the thread. It's native to Australia and has adapted to urban life so you see them in parks etc around the cities, sitting on top of garbage bins using their long beaks to scavenge. A bit like seagulls, I think the diet of the city dwelling ones is probably made up mainly of chips these days!
