My problem: Unexpected behavior when using content aware fill. I just moved from PSE3 to PSE13 and am trying new tools.
I have a photo of a church that's marred by electric poles and wires, so want to remove them. To do so, I'm usm Lasso select to encircle the poles and then Edit -> Fill Layer to apply Content Aware fill. That gets rid of the worst. However, when I then try to use Clone Stamp to fix the rest, I'm stymied that Clone Stamp only works in the area defined by the lasso select. I am unable to change the photo outside that area using the Clone Stamp tool. That's a definite drat! I've tried working on the Background Layer and on a copied layer - I get the same results either way.
While I could skip content aware fill and work just with Clone Stamp, it seems a shame. Any suggestions/hints/fixes?
